PILANA a.s. uses our induction heating systems

A high-frequency HFR generator was installed at Pilana a.s. for induction annealing of machine saw blade ends, replacing an electron-tube system that was beyond repair. Energy savings and operational reliability were the main criteria for selecting the supplier and the type of equipment.

The year 2009 was successfully concluded by relocating and modernising the welding line for the production of welded steel profiles. Together with the modernisation, a new HFR welding generator was put into operation, increasing productivity and quality compared to the original concept.

Successful final project evaluation

With the participation of Ministry of Industry and Trade officials, the R&D project of a high-power 400 kW high-frequency generator was completed. Despite the demanding three-year task, we were awarded grade "V" — excellent.

Research project on a welding generator completed

In September, the research project on a 300–400 kW high-frequency welding generator, carried out under the IMPULS business support programme, will be completed.

A project is currently under way — relocation of a welded-profile production technology to a new operator, FERONA a.s. The contract also includes the delivery of a 250 kW welding generator. Trial operation is scheduled for September 2009.

Success in the public tender of the Ministry of Industry and Trade business support programme

In July 2009 we succeeded in a public tender for R&D support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, for the research and development of portable compact high-frequency generators for induction heating, induction hardening and induction brazing.
