After half a year, we can evaluate the deployment of two HFR50 high-frequency generators in Mr. Vystrčil's commission hardening shop. The original GV-series electron-tube generators were replaced by our 50 kW induction heaters, mechanically adapted for direct replacement in the time-proven EKT hardening machines. Paradoxically, the higher power did not increase electricity consumption — instead, it nearly doubled production, improved product quality and saved floor space, allowing additional technology to be installed. "However we set the power potentiometer in the morning, it stays there until the end of the shift," says the shop manager. Thanks to this innovation and the quality of our solid-state induction heaters, the company won orders for hardening parts e.g. for SCANIA trucks. The generator software was custom-modified so that after each induction heating cycle it evaluates the amount of energy delivered into the part and alerts the operator to any out-of-tolerance pieces.

The situation is similar at Buzuluk Komárov, where there was no tradition of induction hardening, yet our HFR-series high-frequency induction heaters handle this demanding technological operation for a foreign car maker without any problems.
