For a large steel company, we designed, manufactured and delivered
high-frequency hardening equipment for hardening the teeth of machine saws.
A 50 kW high-frequency generator together with the control system enables automatic hardening of
a 1.5 m machine saw in about 10 minutes. The system can measure the induction heating temperature, the coolant flow through the quench shower and other process parameters for optimum hardening. A servo drive ensures precise positioning of the saw relative to the hardening process.
